A Concept Design for Store Fulfillment Task Optimization
Designed at Manhattan Associates (2014)
This project was a result of User & Market Research around Omni-Channel fulfillment and its impact on efficiency of stores. I was a part of multiple store visits where we observed the fulfillment process and carried out contextual inquiry to understand better the pain points of store operations. Analysis of data collected and brainstorming of ideas lead to the concept designs I produced for the team.
Application Screen Workflow
Following are concept screens designed to depict assignment of tasks within a store and real-time monitoring of associates and task status. A lot of thought has been put into making Omni-Channel fulfillment efficient for stores - Automated task prioritization, integrating item mapping to store blueprint so associates can be efficiently directed around the store and their tasks can be monitored real-time.
